Adepte de mon être
CIE Fientan (BFA)
Inclusive dance theater
Content
Adepte de mon être is a Deaf ensemble dance piece from Burkina Faso. Energetic, strong dancing, music and sign language tells their story of pain, uncertainty, marginalization and exclusion. But through dance, shared rhythm, breath and heartbeats, we can be called to create a space of belonging and inclusion.
This piece will amaze with it’s athletic contemporary dance, African percussion and integration of sign to ask us all how we could create more inclusive communities for everyone that celebrates and welcomes our differences and similarities.
