We want to make our theatre performances accessible
to all children, young people and adults.

Therefore, when you book your tickets or register, please let us know how we can make your visit to the theatre as accessible as possible.

We regularly offer performances with German Sign Language (DGS) on stage. You can recognise performances with DGS on our website and on our monthly pass by a symbol with two hands. Sometimes we also write “with German Sign Language on stage”.

We always have tickets for deaf people. Even if the performance says “sold out”, you can write us: ticket@jes-stuttgart.de

There is a newsletter that you can subscribe to by contacting Marie (marie.herholz@jes-stuttgart.de). It’s called “JES and inclusion”. In it you will find the next dates with DGS.

Some of our employees have basic knowledge of DGS. If you are visiting us at JES, you will recognise these people by a tag. Pen and paper is also always available for writing.

There is free seating in all performances. If it helps you to have a specific seat, please let us know. We can reserve a seat for you where you can see the DGS interpreter particularly well. We can also save you a seat for other reasons.

Please let us know if early entrance would help you. This means that we will let you into the auditorium before everyone else.

Would you like to see a specific performance with DGS? Write us an email: ticket@jes-stuttgart.de

DGS is used in different ways in our plays. To find out more about how DGS is used in the plays, click on the link to the play. Then click on “information on accessibility”.
